Get Fit. Stay Ready.

Physical fitness is a cornerstone of readiness and resilience.  The Army emphasizes the importance of high levels of physical capability for the occupational tasks that Soldiers are required to perform. The Army Fitness Test (AFT) not only helps maintain the physical and mental well-being of Soldiers to ensure readiness, but it also plays a large role in the Army’s fitness culture.

How to Reserve the Turf Lanes

AFT reservations for the turf lanes are made based on availability, with a maximum of 3 lanes. Units may have no more than 20 members in their group per reservation. If units cannot be accommodated at Specker Human Performance Center (SHPC), they must contact the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security to schedule outdoor testing lanes.  Reservations are accepted via email only and can be made up to 90 days in advance.

  1. Download the reservation form.
  2. Email completed form to SHPC.
  3. Sport and Fitness staff will confirm your reservation.
