Patriot Pet Sitters offers in-home pet care in the comfort of your home while you are away. Our skilled employees have received background checks and are certified in pet First Aid and CPR to ensure your pets receive the best care. 

Eligibility: This service is only available to residents of The Villages at Fort Belvoir.
 

In-home pet care includes:

• Outdoor potty breaks (in yard or brief walk when no yard is available).
• Feeding and watering (Once a day option available for cats only).
• 2 - 3 daily visits during boarding.
• In addition, mid-day walks are available for customers that work long days.  

All items will be charged by number of days vs kennel boarding, which is charged by night. 
 

Daily Sitting Fees

• 1 visit (cats only) | $20
• 2 visits, 1 pet | $40
• 3 visits, 1 pet | $60

Additional Fees

• Additional pet - $5 per pet, per visit
• Geriatric (pets that need assistance with walking or makes extensive messes) | $20
• Dog walking - $20 per walk
• Medication administration - $1.50 per dose

Boarding reservations are taken no earlier than 6 months in advance.

All boarding reservations require either a VISA or MasterCard to hold the reservation. Any cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the reservation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours will result in a $50 fee. This policy applies to “no shows” as well.

A $50 deposit is required for all federal holidays.
 

Check-In/Check-Out Hours

• Check-in after 12 p.m.
  • Daycare fee applies for early check-in.
• Check-out before 12 p.m.
  • For customers requesting grooming services, Patriot Pet Care will call when pet is ready to be picked up.
  • Daycare fee applies for late check-out.

Required Vaccinations

Vaccination records must be submitted for all pets prior to drop off.

Dogs: Bordetella, rabies,  and distemper. Dogs testing positive will not be able to use our services.

Cats: Rabies and distemper.

For the safety of our animals, no pets will be admitted without required vaccinations; all must be free of fleas, ticks and other parasites. No exceptions.
 

Our facility features indoor/outdoor runs. The indoor section of the run is climate-controlled by a twenty-four hour heating and cooling system. The outdoor section of the run is covered to provide shade in the summer and protection from the elements. All runs are constructed with small chain link fencing designed for pets to minimize the potential for injury. We encourage owners to bring their own pets' food to avoid stomach upset. However, we do provide food for sensitive systems (Purina* Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach for Dogs, and Purina* ONE Sensitive systems for Cats) if food is not brought in. An additional fee will be charged if extra preparation is required, such as heating, grinding or cooking. All food and medication brought in must be in a sealed, plastic container.

Grooming Services

Book your next appointment at Patriot Pet Care's American Kennel Club (AKC) certified salon for all of your grooming needs. Dogs who cannot be crated will need to be picked up within 30 minutes of completion and owners charged an express grooming fee of $40. Please note that excessive matting will incur a fee of $25-40.

Day Boarding Charges

Our training classes help build trust and obedience with your fur baby. Classes are designed to include all levels and ages. Each class is taught by our accredited Dog Trainer who has more than 13 years of experience in training and handling dogs.
