Rivanna Station is a sub-installation of Fort Belvoir located in Charlottesville Virginia, home to the U.S. Army’s National Ground Intelligence Center with elements of the following Intelligence Community organizations: selected components of the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and others. Rivanna Station Child Development Center offers personnel within this community full day care services providing a safe and healthy environment for early childhood development and preschool programs.

FCC provides quality home-based care for children 4 weeks to 12 years old, and is offered in government-owned and government-leased housing located on post.

Parent Outreach Services is your gateway to Child and Youth Services programs. We support Family readiness and well-being by helping you balance military requirements and parental responsibilities.

The Markham School Age Center (SAC) offers a variety of care, to include part day preschool and full day, hourly, and before and after school care for school age children.

School Support Services provides Army school-aged youth with educational opportunities, resources and information necessary to achieve academic success. A branch of Child & Youth Services (CYS), School Support Services features School Liaison Officers (SLOs), who help schools, installations and Families work together for student achievement.

The Youth Center sponsors a variety of programs offering youth opportunities in life skills, citizenship and leadership, leisure, recreation and arts, mentoring, intervention and support services.

The Child and Youth Services (CYS) Youth Sports & Fitness program offers various opportunities for children to participate in sports. The program is expanding to provide support for children ages 3 to 18 years to encourage healthy, life long habits. 

The first step to participating in CYS programs and activities is registration via Parent Central Services (PCS).
