Helping You Settle In While You Wait for Your Belongings
When you move to a new duty station, your household goods might take time to arrive. That’s why we have a Lending Closet at your local ACS. You can borrow basic kitchen, bedroom, or to help you get through those first days in your new home.
These items are free to borrow. You just need your military ID and a copy of your PCS orders. The Lending Closet is open to Soldiers, Families, and DoW Civilians.
Available Items:
- Pots and pans
- Dishes and silverware
- Coffee makers and toasters
- Irons and ironing boards
- Folding tables and chairs
Lending Rules:
- Items are lent on a 2 week basis. Please call +1 (571)231-7026 to request additional time.
- Upon return, lent items must be in clean, useable condition.
