Sports and Fitness offers intramural softball with league or double-elimination tournaments during the summer.
This league is open to Active Duty Military Personnel, DoW Civilians, Family members and Contractors who are attached or assigned to Fort Belvoir through their unit or organization. DoW Civilians and Contractors who are assigned to a unit may play on their unit’s team; however, they must pay an entry fee of $35 per player or $150 for teams with more than 6 Civilians, Family members or Contractors. Organizations may form their own teams. Active Duty Military teams will have priority if a maximum number of teams is reached. Men and women can play together on teams; however, all co-ed teams will play by male Amateur Softball Association (ASA) rules. Teams must have a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 14 players with 1 designated coach.
