Fort Belvoir Summer Reading Program

Plant a Seed, Read

The Library’s free Summer Reading Program invites children, teens and adults to grow their love of reading all summer long, while earning prizes as they meet their reading-minute goals.

Research shows that summer reading helps prevent academic slide, and students who read for pleasure consistently outperform those who don’t, especially when they choose books that match their interests.

Our Library remains dedicated to lifelong learning and enrichment for every family!

Summer Reading Timeline:

  • Register and log minutes June 15 - August 7.

  • Pick-up prizes at the Library through August 31, while supplies last.
