AER is the Army's own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to "Helping the Army Take Care of its Own."

For more than 80 years, AER has been the conduit through which Soldiers provide financial support to their fellow Soldiers. Your donation helps Soldiers and Families like you and yours everyday with scholarships, grants, and loans that are always free of interest and fees. 

The purpose of the AER Annual Campaign is twofold: to increase awareness of AER Programs, and to provide an opportunity for Soldiers to help fellow Soldiers by donating to AER.

AER relies on your financial support to ensure we can help others in their time of need. Do your part today at this MWR facility. The annual fundraiser is from March 1 – June 14, 2024.

Donations are accepted at many of our MWR Facilities or Online. If you donate online, please specify Fort Belvoir as the AER garrison.

Kick-off Event

This year, the Financial Readiness Program (FRP) with Army Community Service (ACS) will kick off the AER Annual Campaign at the Fort Belvoir USO Warrior and Family Center (5940 9th Street) on March 5, at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend!
