Summer Camp

Join Child and Youth Services for 9 weeks of exploration, learning and fun at our Markham School Age Center Summer Camp. With exciting daily activities, engaging field trips and fresh experiences every day, there’s always something new waiting to be discovered.

  • June 22 - August 20

  • Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Please note: Camp will not be held on July 3 (Federal Holiday) or August 21 (CYS Training Day).

What to Bring:

Off-post Field Trips: Comfortable sneakers and sunscreen

Water Activities: Sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, extra clothes, closed-toe water shoes

Bowling: Socks

Personal water bottles are permitted.

Parents are responsible for labelling all belongings brought to the center. 

No Crocs* or open toed shoes allowed. 

No outside toys or personal electronics allowed.

Weekly Field Trips

  • Weeks 1 and 2: In-house activities
  • Week 3: Urban Air* (off post)
  • Week 4: Monster Mini Golf* (off post)
  • Week 5: SplashDown Waterpark* (off post)
  • Week 6: Me Land* (off post)
  • Week 7: Funland* (off post)
  • Week 8: Urban Air* (off post)
  • Week 9: In-house activities

Cost and Enrollment

Fees are determined at enrollment and must be paid prior to care.

All families must provide income documentation. Families cannot automatically choose the highest fee category.

CYS registration is required prior to enrollment.

Missing documentation may delay processing and can result in losing a childcare offer.

 All medical conditions must be reported prior to enrollment.

Youth will not be permitted into the facility or accepted for a field trip without appropriate prescription medication.

Children with medical or behavioral conditions will need to complete the MIAT process; this process is not overseen by CYS and can take more than 10 business days to complete.
