LTS Tickets

Fort Belvoir Community Center is your one stop shop for all of your leisure travel needs. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, discounted tickets, discounted hotels or a trip to far off lands, look no further. Our personalized services will provide you with tickets, tours, information and more.

We offer discounted tickets to many attractions in the area as well as throughout the country and hotels/motels or attractions to wherever you might want to travel. LTS tickets are subject to availability and price changes as dictated by the conditions of each tickets' individual contracts. Please contact the LTS Office directly to confirm ticket price and availability.

The Fort Belvoir Community Center has three spaces that can host special events, such as weddings, birthdays, meetings and retirement ceremonies.

Ceramic Enrichment Classes (Effective January 8)

Learn the basics of hand building and glazing techniques for low-fire earthenware clay. Throughout the course of this class, participants will create four to five decorative or functional pieces using a combination of pre-fired bisqueware pieces and handmade pieces. All materials are provided. This class is beginner friendly. Classes are available for ages 10 and up. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

Studio Art Classes

Studio Art is the place to be if you enjoy being creative. This program includes acrylic and abstract painting, beginning pencil drawing, still life and contour drawing. Class topics change monthly, so you can always learn something new. These classes are great for homeschoolers, retirees and anyone looking to do something artistic away from home during the day. Participants must be ages 10 or older to register.

Drum and Percussion Classes

Whether you're a budding musician or a seasoned player, this class is for you. Through a combination of hands-on instruction, collaborative exercises, and personalized feedback, students will delve into the fundamentals of drumming and percussion, honing their rhythm, coordination, and musicality along the way. This class is taught by an experience instructor. Classes are available for ages 6 and up.

Piano Classes

This class is taught by an experienced piano instructor. Classes are available for ages 5 and up. Guitar Classes

Classes are available for all ages, from beginner to expert level. Students will learn the history, techniques and styles of playing the guitar. Proper position for playing, technique development, reading music, sharps, flats, fingerboard, and different styles of music associated with this popular instrument will be covered during this class. 

To expand the learning options and repertoire, the guitar room has increased its inventory by 7 new guitars to complement the existing instruments. The new equipment includes 4 electric-beginner guitars, 2 acoustics-beginner guitars and 1 acoustic-intermediate guitar.

Sip N’ Paint Class

Enjoy a light-hearted class with our enthusiastic instructor and great people! This class is for adults only. During the class, the instructor will be guide you through the process of starting and finishing something truly your own. All materials will be provided and no experience is necessary.

This event is BYOB (beer and wine only) or bring your favorite beverage.

Olympic-style Fencing Classes

This class is taught by a Virginia Academy of Fencing instructor. This sport teaches patience, self-discipline, hand/eye coordination and so much more. The instructor will provide students with an overview of the history, techniques and styles of Olympic fencing. Students will learn how to use protective equipment, establish body positions for fencing, and develop proper technique. Classes are available for ages 8 and up.

Disc Jockey (DJ) Classes

This introductory course to modern Disc jockeying is taught over a 4-week period by an experienced DJ. The instructor will provide students with an overview of the history, techniques, equipment styles, and software used to DJ.

Ballroom Dance Classes

Experience the joy of movement and connection as you learn the fundamentals of ballroom dance with our expert instructor. Our classes offer a perfect blend of instruction, practice and fun. Whether you're a complete novice or have some experience, our beginner-friendly classes cater to anyone ages 13 and up.

Participants will meet at the Community Center at 7 a.m. the day of the trip and depart at 7:30 a.m.

There will be a restroom break at a rest stop on the way up and back about two hours into the trip.

All seats are a first-come, first-served basis on our 55-passenger luxury motor coach.

*LTS needs to secure a minimum number of participants two weeks before the trip date. Please register as soon as possible to ensure availability and minimum passenger count requirements.

Eligibility: Active Duty (including Guard and Reserve), Retirees, DoD Civilians, eligible contractors, and all their Dependents.

Each eligible ID Card holder can sponsor non-ID card holder, so grab your friends and family and reserve your seats soon!

Please note: There is no guided tour associated with this bus trip and prices do not include entry into attractions. Ticket can be purchased at Leisure Travel Services (LTS) at the time of bus reservation. Date may be subject to change based on park availability.
