The Young Americans inspire the world through music with captivating performances, signature youth programs, and performing arts. 

The program provides outreach services offering lessons in voice, dance, songwriting, acting, and performance. Through participation and movement, the program enhances the arts, while combating child/youth obesity through music and movement.

The Young Americans will conduct a 3-day workshop hosted by Child & Youth Services (Instructional Programs – SKIES Unlimited) and the USO.  

Eligible participants must be 8 – 18 years of age and be registered with CYS. 

All registered children/youth will actively participate in a community event to be held on March 20.

Workshops will be held at the Fort Belvoir Elementary School (location is subject to change).

Workshop Schedule (times are subject to change)

  • Day 1 | March 18 | 4:30 - 9:30 p.m. Workshop
  • Day 2 | March 19 | 4:30 - 9:30 p.m. Workshop
  • Day 3 | March 20

Cost

Workshop registration fees are waived courtesy of the USO.
