Invitational COED Volleyball Tournament

Participation

Each entering installation may enter one or more teams.   

Eligibility

This tournament will have an open team format.  Players are not required to play with the installation in which they are assigned or attached.  However, players are allowed to play with only one team.

Each team roster is allowed a maximum of 12 players. A minimum of two females must be on the court at all times.

Eligible individuals 18 and over are required to present a valid Identification Card prior to participation.  Failure to produce a valid ID card will result in the revocation of privileges to participate in this tournament.

Format

Teams will play a minimum of four matches consisting of two games. 25 points format.

Tournament games will be played under USAV Guidelines.

After pool play, 2 teams outside of playoff bracket will Referee first playoff games. Losing teams will referee next matches until tournament end.

Although COED, females need not touch the ball on each side’s play.

Three courts will be used for pool play with final bracket played at Wells Field house.

When not playing, teams will referee games (up, down, 2 - line judges and score keeper) please bring two (2) whistles. 

Registration

Nine team spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The entry fee for this tournament will be $150 per team via credit card or cash.  C.  Registration will be done via www.quickscores.com/belvoirmwr. Each team must submit a Letter of Intent and team roster form, along with their registration payment no later than Sat, Sep., 9, 2017 at 6 p.m.  At that time, registration will be locked and the final schedule will be produced and distributed no later than Wed, Sep., 20 2017 by 6 p.m.

Location

Games will be held in Wells Field House, 1810 Goethals Road, or at Specker Field House, 1182 12th Street.

Awards

1st, and 2nd Place Individual Awards B.  One Most Valuable Player Award C.  All roster players receive a  participation T-Shirt.
