Hike and Brew

Come join Outdoor Recreation for a hike in Sky Meadows State Park and a tour of Silos Brewery. 

This is a moderate hike that is 2.5 miles one way. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes on the tour. Seating is limited; we must meet a 10 person minimum requirement. If this minimum is not reached, customers will be notified of trip cancellation within 48 hours of the trip.

Participants must provide a phone number in case of a violation or an emergency. 

MWR will not be responsible for delays due to traffic conditions, accidents, or any other causes beyond its control. Times are estimated and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

Lunch is not included.

Itinerary*

• Meet at Outdoor Recreation (ODR) at 8 a.m.
• Travel to Sky Meadows State Park (approx. 1.5 hrs.)
  • Arrive at 9:30 a.m.
  • Hike starts at 9:45 a.m. (approx. 2.5 hrs.)
  • Hike ends at 12:30 p.m.
  • Depart at 12:35 p.m.​​​​​​
     
• Travel to 2 Silos Brewing Co.
  • Arrive at 1 p.m.
  • Tour starts at 1 p.m.
  • Tour ends 3 p.m.
  • Depart at 3:30 p.m.
• Arrive at Fort Belvoir ODR at 5 p.m.
