Ready to fire up some family fun? Outdoor Recreation invites you to our one-of-a-kind overnight escape packed with outdoor fun, tasty bites and campfire magic. Whether you're roasting marshmallows or watching a movie under the stars, this campout promises family memories you’ll treasure forever! Families must bring their own sleeping gear.
Each family member will receive 1 hot dog, chips and a drink. Families will also receive 1 s’mores kit. Dogs are welcome but must remain leashed outside of the dog park.
Check-in Location: Outdoor Recreation Center (10155 Johnston Road, BLDG 778)
Timeline:
August 15
- 2 - 5 p.m. | Check-in, tent set up, yard games, fishing and archery
- 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. | Dinner
- 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. | S’mores and campfire songs
- 7:30 p.m. (sunset) | Outdoor showing of "Hopper" (rated PG)
Bedtime is at the discretion of parents, but quiet hours will begin after the movie.

Cost
With 4 - 6 person Tent Rental | $55 per family (limited quantity)
Bring Your Own Tent | $30 per family (1 tent/space per purchase)
Large family? Add an additional tent and camping space for $25.
