Two-Person Team Match Play Championship

Gather your golf partner and get ready to tee off in this exciting Two-Person Team Match Play Championship! You know they say that two is better than one. Together, you’ll strategize, encourage one another, and celebrate your victories. Play begins on June 1 and continues until all matches are complete.
 

Format
Match play is a format of play that is scored in a hole-by-hole competition. The side that holes its ball in less strokes than its opponent wins the hole. In a handicap competition, the side with the lowest net score wins the hole.

Winning
The side who has won the most holes wins the match. When a side is winning by more holes than there are holes remaining, the match is won. A match can be won before all 18 holes are played. For example, if you win the first 10 holes, you have won the match because there are only 8 holes left to play.

Teams will have two weeks to play each match. If a team cannot play a match within the allotted timeframe, the match will be determined by a coin flip (unless a team forfeits). 

Brackets/Flights: Based on the number of participants. Below is a breakdown of potential brackets.

• Men’s flights will be flighted based on number of participants.
• Based on flight breakdowns tees will be determined.
• Ladies Flight.
• 90% of current handicap. All play will be from the white tees.

Teams or players can play in multiple flights.
No consolation brackets.
