Storm Water

The Library, in partnership with Fort Belvoir Directorate of Public Works’ Environmental Division, brings you an interactive program that's fun and educational. During this STEAM activity, participants will explore the pathways of storm water. 

This program includes:

  • An in-person demonstration with a diorama table and paper experiment at the Library.
  • A walk outside to find examples of storm water systems.
  • A discussion on the effects of pollution and ways we can keep our environment healthy.

Using their imaginations as young Environmental Scientists, youth will discover how their actions can make a difference. Youth must be in grades 4 - 6 to register.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.

Location: Yellow Room, Outdoors (area around the Library)
