CYSitter Babysitter Training Course

Where teens learn to provide quality childcare as skilled babysitters.

Know a teenager interested in becoming a babysitter? This course will help teens strengthen their skills and teach them everything they need to know to provide quality childcare. Participants will receive hands-on instruction in:

  • Basic child and infant care
  • Diaper changing techniques
  • Home and fire safety
  • Child abuse recognition
  • CPR (2 year certification)
  • First Aid (2 year certification) and more!

Those who complete this course will be placed on the babysitting referral list. Please send a packed lunch with your teen. Snacks will be provided.

Class size: Limited to 12 students

Ages: 13 - 18 years

Location: Youth Center (5850 Langfitt Loop, BLDG 1003)

Participants must be registered with Child and Youth Services (CYS), including the MIAT process and Parental Agreement Form, prior to enrolling in this course.

Course enrollment closes on December 4 at 5 p.m.
