The Fort Belvoir Defeat COVID-19 Virtual Run is a 5k race were participants are taking a stand and saying, “No” to the corona virus. As we adapt to the new normal, we are taking a new approach and bringing the race to you. This is a great opportunity for beginner and seasoned athletes. Participants choose their own route; they can run or walk, and set their own pace. The distance can be split-up as you choose.
The Run/Walk will start July 24 at 6 a.m. and conclude Aug 31 at 5 p.m.
All registered participants will receive a t-shirt, which will be mailed out starting Aug 31.
To receive credit for the race, post your time on the Facebook event using #defeatCOVIDrun.
Eligibility: Military, DoD Civilians, Retirees, Family Members, and Installation Visitors.
